Transport Canada just removed the need for Cdn pilots to complete annual in-person medicals, for TWO more years ("CAME-001-2023" ).
Why? "Flexibility"
Baseline safety standards (in place for decades) are being discarded for convenience. Canada is alone in allowing this.
We've heard from scores of vax-injured Cdn airline pilots. Many haven't had an in-person medical or EKG for close to 3 years, thanks to the above.
Contact Omar Alghabra, and other federal MPs. Demand TC stop jeopardizing safety with exemptions.
